Lombard Medical Technologies appoints new CFO

Ian Ardill joins company from Biocompatibles International

Lombard Medical Technologies has appointed Ian Ardill to the board as chief financial officer.

Ardill joins the company from Biocompatibles International, where he was finance director for six years. During this time he played a leading role in transforming the business from a loss-making company to a profitable enterprise with sales of £33m. He was later responsible for overseeing the sale of the business for £177m to BTG in 2011.

He joins the company at the same time it announced it has appointed Collins Stewart Europe as its nominated adviser and broker.
