Equipment manufacturer, Westhouse Medical Services, has appointed Dr Michael Sevenoaks as a member of its Medical Advisory Panel.
Dr Sevenoaks qualified from St Georges Hospital Medical School in London, holding training posts in a variety of hospital medical and surgical specialties, as well as spending time as a surgical registrar in Australia.
He completed his General Practice training in Chichester and subsequently joined ICP, one of the largest group practices in the UK, where he now holds the position of executive partner.
He is also a director of Epsomedical, an independent chain of day surgery units, providing diagnostic and treatment services for the NHS and private sectors.
In addition to his medical interests, he holds a first class honours degree in biomedical sciences and has published research in the field of cell and molecular biology. He also maintains an active role in clinical trials and medical research.

The company is is currently developing a number of medical devices, including BreastCheck, a low-cost, non-invasive breast cancer screening product which can act as a precursor to mammogram scanning. BreastCheck is due for launch this summer.
