The contractor has secured the award among 300 organisations recognised for world-class procurement

GRAHAM has joined the ranks of the world’s top-performing companies after securing the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) Procurement Excellence Standard.

The global accreditation is for excellence in procurement and supply chain strategy.

Only 300 organisations worldwide have achieved this accreditation, which recognises excellence in procurement governance, sustainability, ethics, and value delivery.

“This recognition is a significant milestone for GRAHAM. It validates the strategic role procurement plays in driving value, managing risk, and supporting our wider business objectives,” said Gerard McKeever, GRAHAM’s Head of Procurement for Civil Engineering.

Seen as the gold standard for global procurement, the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) accreditation tests how effectively organisations build transparent, resilient, and strategically driven supply chains.

To assess for the award, the organisation’s procurement and supply chain functions are independently evaluated.

This process includes evaluation on how organisations integrate environmental, social, and ethical standards into their supply chains — such as reducing carbon, supporting local suppliers, and maintaining ethical sourcing.

By achieving the CIPS standard, GRAHAM has underlined its commitment to best practice in procurement and supply chain management, cementing its position as a reliable partner for healthcare and infrastructure development across the UK and Ireland.
