The mechanical, electrical and public health specialist has won two healthcare contracts with Elliott Group and HBC Construction

The Leeds-based engineering firm has been appointed to deliver mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) packages for two major healthcare developments.

The first is with new client Elliott Group, whilst the other is with existing partner HBC Construction.

G&H will work with Elliott Group on the delivery of Affidea’s flagship medical centre at Wimbledon Quarter, which is set to become the first private medical centre located within a UK retail destination.

The facility is expected to provide private GP services, minor injury treatment, diagnostic imaging and specialist outpatient care when it opens in late 2026.

The company’s 60-strong project team, including apprentices, will deliver a full MEP design and build package, with pipework prefabricated at G&H’s Leeds-based workshop.

The second contract has been awarded by HBC Construction for GenesisCare’s new specialist healthcare facility in Leeds.

G&H will deliver the complete MEP design and build installation for the centre, which will support oncology, haematology and research services.

Works will include specialist MRI and PET-CT process chillers, medical gas systems, critical electrical infrastructure, including isolated power supply (IPS) and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, as well as additional patient monitoring and energy systems.

The firm has delivered a range of MEP projects across clinical environments, including ongoing decarbonisation schemes and hospital developments.

G&H has also invested in a new apprentice training facility in Leeds to support the development of future MEP engineers, and provide hands-on skills training to help deliver healthcare and critical infrastructure projects.
