Procurement organisation, Fusion21, has announced the launch of its national Building & Asset Improvement Works Framework m which will be worth up to £250m over the next four years.
Specifically designed to meet the needs of all public-sector organisations – including NHS Trusts, NHS walk-in centres and GP Surgeries – the framework offers a range of internal and external improvement works, from the installation of kitchens and bathrooms to fire doors, communal entrance doors, roofing and electrical works.
Providing regional coverage, the framework will facilitate local service delivery, with streamlined procurement processes in place to open doors to SME organisations.
Fusion21 members will also have the option to commission multi-trade internal and external works suited to combined programmes or smaller-scale projects.
Peter Francis, director of operations at Fusion21, said: “Set for launch in November, members accessing this compliant procurement solution will benefit from increased collaboration with local SMEs, flexible call-off processes, and greater efficiency savings; in addition to generating social value outcomes that are tailored to organisational priorities and make a real impact in communities.
“Developed in response to member and market demand, this framework complements our Construction Works and Improvements Framework – worth up to £800m – which launched earlier this year to support the delivery of capital works programmes across the UK.”
To date the firm has saved its members more than £225m through improved procurement processes and has generated £82m of social value.
