Estates consultancy, Community Ventures Management, has announced the appointment of Jonathan Turner as director of consultancy.
A strategic health professional and chartered surveyor with more than 28 years experience, Turner brings his skills in health planning and strategic management consultancy to the growing Community Ventures team.
He has worked widely across both the public and private sectors during his career, starting as a manager in the NHS and moving into directorial roles in the strategic health consultancy sector.
In his new role he will head up Community Ventures’ consultancy arm, managing a 15-strong team of associate directors, consultants, and project managers who support organisations to develop strategic visions around their health estates.
Emma Bolton, interim chief executive of Community Ventures Management, said: “Jonathan’s background in the industry is going to be a huge asset to our clients, as he brings a wealth of experience working in partnership with public sector organisations to deliver strategic property advice, health planning, and business cases.
“It’s a key time for the health estates sector as in-house teams face more demands on their time to create comprehensive long-term estates and infrastructure strategies, while undergoing serious pressures on their estates budgets.
“The expansion of our team means we’re perfectly placed to work in partnership with our partners across England’s health sector, supporting them to create bespoke developments fit for the demands of modern healthcare, and allowing them to focus on delivering patient-centred, community-based services.”
Turner added: “I’m incredibly excited to get stuck into my new role with Community Ventures.
“I’ll be working with some exceptionally-talented people, and we have some interesting projects in the pipeline.
“It’s the culture that really attracted me to join Community Ventures – it’s a consultancy where I feel I can be a key part of the team and have an impact from day one.”
