Bupa, a UK-based health insurance and healthcare company, has acquired London Medical, a specialist outpatient clinic that is located in London’s renowned medical district, Harley Street.
London Medical primarily specialises in diabetes treatment and management.
As diabetes can cause a breadth of other conditions, London Medical has extended its specialist services to include endocrinology, cardiology, paediatrics, ophthalmology, sexual health, and weight management as well as provide access to private GP services.

London Medical’s specialist services will complement Bupa Health Services’ existing portfolio of in-depth patient care from August 2024.
Most importantly, the partnership creates a seamless and speedy pathway for patients from diagnosis to treatment.

Bupa Health Services comprises 71 health clinics and the Cromwell Hospital.
This acquisition is part of Bupa Heath Services long-term strategy to provide more Bupa services directly to customers, and follows Bupa Health Clinics’ successful acquisition of Blackberry Clinics in January 2024 and the Smart Clinics in December 2023, and the current expansion of facilities at Cromwell Hospital.
