Source for Business signs deal with Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Source for Business has been awarded a £2.14m water and waste water retail contract with Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The company is the national trading brand for Pennon Water Services, which had previously provided water services to the trust.

Following recent contract wins with the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and BMI Healthcare, this latest success underlines Source for Business’ reputation as a specialist in the healthcare sector.

“This contract will allow us to build a long-term relationship with the trust and will help it to use resources efficiently and to save money,” said Richard Stanbrook, director of Source for Business.

Richard Hales, energy and sustainability manager at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, added: “We have been through a comprehensive process of understanding the newly-deregulated water sector.

“Following a rigorous procurement exercise we are very happy to have secured Source for Business as our water and waste water services retailer.

“We are looking forward to a very productive relationship that works to continually improve our integrated capacity, efficiency and resilience agenda for a sustainable future.”
