HORIBA Medical has appointed Andy Taylor as its new sales manager.
With extensive expertise in the area of healthcare diagnostics, acquired both at the laboratory bench and many years spent visiting hospitals and laboratories in a variety of diagnostics sales roles., Taylor started working life in the biochemistry department of Nobles Hospital on the Isle of Man, before moving into sales and then into healthcare diagnostics.
Commenting on his new role, Cleve Wright, UK general manager of HORIBA Medical, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Andy to our growing UK team. He brings a wealth of experience to HORIBA Medical which will make him a great asset to the company.”
Taylor added: "I am looking forward to the challenges this new role will bring. HORIBA Medical has a fantastic portfolio of haematology equipment, from point-of-care analysers through to the newly-launched high-throughput Pentra DX Nexus model. With the conditions in the market constantly changing, I believe we are well placed to offer the right solution for any size of laboratory. Also, the service and support given by HORIBA is an area where we excel and which is greatly appreciated by our customers.”
The appointment is one of three recent changes at the company, which has also brought in Michael McKeegan as a technical specialist within the expanding technical team; and Tanya Johnstone as operations assistant, helping to ensure the smooth running of a number of key areas of the UK business.
