Novosco has completed the first phase of a multi-million-pound digitalisation project for one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK on time and on budget.
In June 2018, it was announced the Northern Ireland-headquartered Novosco, which was recently acquired by Munich-based CANCOM Group, had secured the £107m contract to manage IT infrastructure and support services for Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest and most-digitally-advanced healthcare trusts in the UK.
Novosco has now completed the first phase of the contract, taking over the management and support of the trust’s IT systems and making the company its primary IT infrastructure service and support supplier.
Novosco is now providing a range of services to support its award-winning eHospital digital maturity programme and electronic patient record (EPR) system, Epic.
