Roman has launched a new level-access sliding door enclosure.
The 8mm sliding door has been added to the Lumin8 range of shower enclosures, walk-ins and bath screens.
It stands at 1950mm high with a bright-silver frame and can be level access entry as the bottom rail can be minimal or completely barrier free.
The design and functionality exudes luxury with the ultra-smooth running door action, generous door opening, stylish chromed brass components and an elegant ergonomic handle.
The fixed panel glass fits straight to the tray and then a chrome brass spring-locking system holds the door in place and allows it to move more smoothly - and swing out for cleaning.
The deflector strip on the bottom of the door has been tested and approved for power showers, but if further certainty is required there is an optional strip to go along between the panel and frame.
The design of this Lumin8 Level Access Enclosure is innovative and minimalist, while still maintaining its luxury styling and superb water integrity.
The sliding door is ideal for both small and large bathrooms as it doesn’t open out into the bathroom space, allowing for existing bathroom furniture. It can be installed on to a Roman Low Level Shower Tray or straight to floor using Roman’s Wetroom Shield System.
The Sliding Door is currently available in sizes: 1000mm, 1100mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1500mm and 1700mm.
