Paul Hanrahan joins Community Health Partnerships

New face takes on executive director role with responsibility for property management

Community Health Partnerships (CHP) has appointed Paul Hanrahan (MSc MIET) as executive director, with overarching responsibility for the property management team.

Hanrahan, who took up the position on 30 November, has 30 years experience working in the property sector and a post graduate MSc in Facility and Property Management from the University College London. Over the last 12 years he has specialised in banking, insurance and commercial property, managing buildings including the Shard, CityPoint and Broadgate Tower in London, from construction to operation. He remains involved with UCL in an alumni role.

He said: “The combination of leading the property team at CHP, and working with both public and private sector investors, is a rare and very exciting opportunity. CHP has a broad spectrum of over 300 assets, which presents an opportunity to review and implement new, focused management strategies. I am sure the coming months will be demanding and I am looking forward to working with the national team and colleagues within CHP.”

CHP’s chief executive, Sue O’Connell, added: “We welcome Paul to the team and look forward to benefiting from his considerable experience. His property expertise further strengthens our offer as we continue to work closely with commissioners, partners and local government to unlock value from England’s health and social care estate and deliver savings for the NHS.”
