Combining comfort with state-of-the-art design

Ocura Healthcare Furniture, the leading provider of hospital furniture in the UK, has unveiled a new treatment chair which offers a strong alternative to other chairs currently available in the UK.

The Verona range (LINK) which features six treatment chairs, offers the ultimate in comfort and clinical flexibility. Ergonomically designed, these innovative chairs can be electronically adjusted to provide total support to the patient. The chair, comes with adjustable backrest, legrest and seat tilt as standard with additional options to adjust the height and footrest as well as central or individual locking casters.

The armrests can also be individually positioned for height, inclination and direction while the width between the arms can also be adjusted for additional patient comfort which is particularly useful during procedures such as infusion. The arms also fold back enabling side access.

Graham Whitbourn, Ocura’s Managing Director, said:

“We really do believe this will be an incredible winner. The range provides extremely high comfort for patients undergoing chemotherapy, dialysis and other procedures, as well as a range of features that make it truly unique. We’re already seeing a lot of interest in this from our customers and have a number of demonstrations already booked up.”

The chair offers a low entry point for elderly and less mobile patients while a CPR button ensures the chair can be quickly positioned in case of an emergency.

What’s more, the Verona comes will a full range of accessories so that it can be modified for exact clinical requirements. These include adding I.V poles, LED reading lap, push handle and protective covers.

The launch of the Verona range follows the introduction of the wide-arm Colorado recliner chair last month.

Also new for 2017 are the Winslow wooden recliner chair, the addition of a wooden electrically reclining chair to the Atlanta range, a height adjustable Tucson treatment chair and a drop-arm Arvada patient chair with side access.
