Kodak Alaris will be exhibiting at Healthcare Efficiency Through Technology (HETT), the UK’s largest one-day healthcare event which is taking place on 28 September at Olympia.
The company will be showing a selection of its latest scanners, software and services on Stand H380.
It will demonstrate how healthcare providers can transform processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity by leveraging its expertise in providing intelligent solutions to capture, recognise and extract, manage, and securely exchange structured and unstructured medical information.
Digital transformation is central to the Government's plans for transforming the NHS as it works towards achieving a paper-free health and care system by 2020.
Visitors will be able to get hands-on with the equipment on the stand, talk to the company’s healthcare specialists, and see how its solutions can take cost and complexity out of the requirement to digitise medical records in line with the Government’s QIPP agenda.
Systems on show will include the ibml ImageTrac-Lite 6, which streamlines and simplifies complex document imaging processes; and in-line data capture applications to deliver maximum efficiency savings and increased productivity.
This robust document scanner, which provides better document feeding, superior image quality, and faster turnaround times, is ideal for archive and other applications.
Attendees will also be able to see the productivity-boosting i5850S scanner with integrated sorting capabilities in action.
This model cuts handling time and delivers auto-sorting advantages by separating mixed batches of documents into three output trays, providing the flexibility busy medical records departments need.
Other scanners on the stand will include the i3500 desktop device, which offers imaging functionality for onboarding batches of information; and Intelligent Document Protection to defend against damaged documents and lost data.
This space-saving A3 scanner can handle a wide range of documents and is purpose built to deliver consistent throughput and minimise downtime, helping healthcare organisations to save time and reduce costs.
Kodak Alaris will also be showcasing its new wireless scanner, the i1190WN, equipped with the Info Input Solution web-based capture solution.
With no cords or cables this compact-yet-powerful scanner is fully portable, making it ideal for sharing among workers in practices with multiple offices.
Easy to integrate with existing applications, the i1190wn also enables users to create new custom integrations, manage security levels and settings.
When combined with the fully-featured Info Input Solution, users can scan, capture via mobile, import, index, convert, and submit documents to and from within any applications or archive systems.
“Kodak Alaris has a strong heritage in the provision of tailored solutions to meet the full complement of customers’ requirements within the healthcare sector and we will be taking visitors through a number of real-life scenarios where we have assisted clients in meeting targets to digitise paper-based information ahead of schedule, ” said regional marketing manager, Adam Richardson.
“We are delighted to be attending HETT once again this year and look forward to demonstrating our products, software and capabilities at the show.”
