Three long-serving managers at Keighley Laboratories have recently been promoted to division directors.
In recognition of their contribution to past performance and future growth plans, the trio were promoted as part of a restructuring of the senior management team.
Under the shake-up, Michael Emmott becomes divisional commercial director for the heat treatment division; Matthew Mellor will be divisional technical director responsible for the technical services division; and David Wright has been named divisional production director for the heat treatment division.
Emmott, who joined the company in 1969 as a trainee heat treatment inspector, will be fully responsible for divisional sales and marketing; while Mellor, who has been at the firm for 22 years, will undertake planning, co-ordination and management control of the company’s test house, machine shop and chemical analysis departments. Wright joined in 1978 as a general operative and in his new post will manage a team of 40 staff and be in overall charge of the production process and ancillary operations.
