Allegion has appointed James Keith as end user solution strategy manager for its UK business to strengthen its profile with architects and other stakeholders.
He joins Allegion following 13 years in product, brand and category management roles across automative, health and safety and home improvement industries.
His previous roles have seen him engage in project-led work, managing full portfolios and implementing key product roadmaps.
The role with Allegion will involve direct engagement and involvement with end users and the challenges they face, bringing complete solution packages to full fruition.
He will deliver differentiated and unique offerings to targeted vertical markets, such as healthcare and education, and end user environments.
Marc Lengahan, commercial director of Allegion UK and Ireland, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Keith as part of the end user business development team. He will play an integral role in making Allegion a trusted advisor in the marketplace – in part by providing industry thought leadership to develop and strengthen connections with associations.”
Keith added: “Allegion is a global company with market-leading brands and demonstrates a significant desire to further its knowledge and understanding of the customer. This is something I’m extremely passionate about.”
Allegion develops and manufactures a full range of door hardware and furniture, from door closers, locks, exit devices and levers through to fully-integrated electronic access control solutions.
