Weston Area Health NHS Trust renews with Insignia
PACS solution to run until 2020
Insignia Medical Systems has renewed its contract with Weston Area Health NHS Trust to deliver PACS services for a further two years.
The trust has partnered with Insignia since 2013 to deliver a hospital-wide system which is part of the West of England Insignia Sharing Service.
Speaking about the renewed contract, Richard Tyler, project manager at Insignia Medical Systems, said: “Having managed the initial implementation in 2013, we’ve since added a two-way sharing link to The University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, which provides immediate availability of imaging between the two trusts.
“This greatly improves the level of care available for patients referred to The University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and for those attending clinic or undergoing follow up at Weston Area Health NHS Trust.”
