This seminar will focus on the future provision of healthcare services in London.

It is scheduled to discuss the implementation of the recent Better Health for London: next steps report - which details the collaborative work planned to make London ‘the world’s-healthiest major city’ by 2020.

Sessions will focus on the impact of the recent Transforming London’s Health and Care Together report, which sets out key priorities for NHS commissioners in London over the next five years - including transformation programmes in the areas of primary care, urgent and emergency care, and the development of specialised services.

Delegates will also discuss the unique challenges facing healthcare delivery in London - with the latest thinking on how services can respond to a growing and diverse population, increasing long-term conditions, and variations in quality and health outcomes - as well as next steps for workforce development, estate modernisation, funding and integration projects across the capital.
