Walberton Place Nursing Home project pushes ahead with funding from Clydesdale and Yorkshire banks

Prestige Care Group is set to open a specialist dementia facility in West Sussex.

The operator already runs care homes with nearly 300 beds, with another 240 beds in the pipeline, and will add to its portfolio later this year with the opening of Walberton Place Nursing Home.

The 80 rooms will have wetroom en-suites and there will be a number of communal lounges, dining rooms, and treatment facilities.

The ground-floor rooms will also open out onto either a secure courtyard or a garden for residents to enjoy.

Raj Singh, owner of Prestige Care Group, said: “Walberton Place Nursing Home will add to the current care offering in the region and this state-of-the-art facility has been designed to offer the highest standard of care to its residents.

“In particular, we wanted to create a facility that would cater for the complex needs of people living with dementia and this care home is equipped to properly support our residents and provide the specialist care that is required.”

The development is being built with funding from Clydesdale and Yorkshire banks. <.p>
