RLB strengthens healthcare portfolio with NHS contract win
Estates consultancy to produce business cases for Sheffield Health & Social Care NHS Foundation Trust
Sheffield Health & Social Care NHS Foundation Trust has awarded a contract to construction, property and management consultancy, Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB), for the preparation of business cases.
Awarded under the NHS SBS Construction Consultancy Framework; the contract is part of an ongoing series of wins for RLB within the acute and primary care sector that includes masterplanning services for the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, the redevelopment of the Brighton General Hospital site, and a full-service including project management, cost management and principal design services for Sussex Community NHS Trust.
Conor Ellis, head of healthcare at RLB, said: “This contract is one of a series of appointments for the team across the primary care and acute services across different services including facilities, project and cost management.
“There is continued pressure for the NHS to maintain its estate to the best levels it can while still looking at costs and efficiencies.
