Prism Medical UK has added two new products to its hoisting and transfer portfolio.
The Prism FSG200 Free-Standing Gantry system is designed to provide a safe and stable hoist track in places where a fixed ceiling track may not be suitable or a portable solution is required.
When used in conjunction with a portable track hoist, the system proves a perfect solution for home care, extending the time users are able to remain in their own home.
The FSG200 is a cost-effective solution that is easy to transport and simple to erect in minutes by either one or two people without the need for tools.
It has a safe working load of 200kg and key features include:

- A 1.9-2.85m adjustable track length
- 2.1-2.5m adjustable height
- Stable 0.87m feet
- A built-in easy-slide trolley

The second new product is the Prism CP200; a compact and quiet portable track hoist with a soft start/stop feature for user comfort, making it ideal for use in hospitals, care homes and home care environments.
Offering exceptional versatility, the CP200 is capable of up to 60 lifts on a single charge, and has a maximum rated load of 200kg.
And it can be quickly moved between multiple fixed ceiling track systems and used in conjunction with gantry systems such as the Prism FSG200 or Easy-Fit.
A quick release system on both the top and bottom of the unit allow it to be transferred between fixed and portable applications in seconds.
Features include:
- A total unit weight of 4.5kg without a carry bar
- Up, down and emergency lowering controls on both hand controller and unit
- A power switch on rear of unit
- Auto power off after approximately 30 seconds of non use
