Published: 25-May-2011

The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust has taken delivery of its first two digital screening trailers to increase the capacity of the breast screening service. The trailers, built by Paneltex, will enable screening to be taken out to the Merseyside population, from Speke in the south to Southport and Churchtown in the north. Ali Guest, superintendent radiographer at the breast screening unit, said: "We have worked very closely with Paneltex on the specification and manufacture of these new digital trailers. They understand our requirements and have manufactured trailers that will provide an efficient and high-quality breast screening service in our area."
