The new strategy for mental health services in England, The Five Year Forward View for Mental Health, sets out 59 recommendations that promise to shake up all aspects of mental health care. The report is a landmark moment for mental health care with a clear strategy to help ensure another one million people receive high-quality care, when and where they need it by 2020/21. It promises a significant shift towards prevention and transformation of care.

Delegates at this event will learn how the report’s recommendations will be hardwired into how care is commissioned, funded, delivered and inspected across the whole of the NHS and wider public sector moving forward.
