Medway Maternity solution deployed at Poole Hospital
System provides single portal for clinical information
Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is to deploy System C’s Medway Maternity solution to provide a single portal for the collection, storage, reporting and retrieval of clinical information for women in the area.
The solution will allow information on around 5,000 births a year to be shared between medical staff in community settings and at Poole Hospital’s maternity unit.
Sandra Chitty, head of midwifery at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Our maternity services are very busy and highly thought of and it is vital that we have ready access to the clinical information we need about our women to provide them with the best service we can. We are confident our new clinical information management system will allow us to focus even more of our time on the women we support during pregnancy.”
