As an NHS approved supplier, Medstor continues to support hospitals across the whole of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales as they battle against COVID-19. Medstor has also been involved in equipping the new NHS Nightingale hospitals in Birmingham and Manchester, providing resuscitation carts, I.V. poles and pharmacy cabinets for clinical teams working around the clock to deliver patient care.

Resuscitation Carts

Medstor has ramped-up production of resuscitation carts in line with massive demand from NHS England. Resuscitation carts, always vital, have never been more urgently needed. The mobile units take resuscitation equipment directly to the point of care, ready for emergency use.

HTM 71 Storage Units

Orders for Medstor’s mobile HTM 71 high density storage units have also increased dramatically. They are being manufactured and delivered to all areas of the UK and Ireland to support the current increased intensive activity of healthcare professionals.

I.V. Poles

I.V. poles are essential equipment wherever an I.V. needs to be administered. The Medstor team worked through the Easter weekend to meet an urgent order for 1,000 I.V. poles for NHS Nightingale hospitals in Birmingham and Manchester. Thanks to the hard work of everyone involved, the I.V. poles were delivered within a very short timeframe and in place before the hospitals opened and started admitting patients.

Pharmacy Cabinets

Medstor pharmacy cabinets are now in use in NHS Nightingale Hospital North West. The hospital has up to 750 beds and will provide care for those who no longer need to be in a critical care environment. It was built in just 14 days - amazing work from all the contractors and suppliers involved.

"We have always been immensely proud of the work we do with the NHS, but never more so than now. All the teams within Medstor have stepped up to the mark, often working through very challenging circumstances to ensure that our equipment reaches the hospitals that are working so hard to care for people affected by this terrible pandemic," commented Allison Seabourne, Sales Director, Medstor
