Manchester dental centre deploys emergency solution
Rollout of Ascribe\'s Symphony contines
Ascribe has deployed its emergency department solution, Symphony, at Central Manchester University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust’s dental centre.
The rollout of the technology among the dental team follows successful integration at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary and Saint Mary’s Hospital.
Jackie Kitchen, information and development manager at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester, said: “The go-live day went very smoothly, with only a few teething problems that were soon sorted. Overall, it has been received very well by the staff in the department. We now have a paper-light system which has significantly reduced the time spent registering patients. We are now able to monitor patients throughout dental casualty and prevent them waiting longer than necessary.”
