THE Leadbitter Group is following its completion of 60 extra care apartments at an elderly and mentally infirm resource centre in south Gloucestershire with the development of an additional 11 cottages on site. Built on behalf of Housing 21 and South Gloucestershire Council, Leadbitter earned a Silver Award from the Considerate Constructors Scheme for the first phase of the Cambrian Green Court development. Russell Houghton, regional director of Leadbitter's western housing division, said: "We are very proud of the work we have already achieved at Cambrian Green Court and are pleased to be building on our success with this next phase. These new houses will go a long way toward helping with the regeneration of Yate, while providing elderly people with affordable homes in which they can live independently."
