Kier Southern wins £2.5m Bournemouth hospital contract

Deal will see revamp of atrium and ward spaces


Developer, Kier Southern, has been awarded a £2.5m contract to revamp the atrium and ward spaces at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

The deal was announced this week by the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as part of a ProCure21+ procurement project.

The works will see refurbishment and reconfiguration within the hospital to provide a new entrance atrium and upgrading of wards 4 and 5. Works are not due to commence on site until September 2012 and will be completed early next year.
