J Tomlinson awarded South Central Ambulance Service maintenance contract

Two-year deal covers planned and reactive maintenance services across over 100 sites

J Tomlinson has been appointed on a two-year contract to provide maintenance services to South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS).

The appointment follows the company’s extensive work with the emergency services sector, including a planned and reactive maintenance contract with West Midlands Ambulance Service, for whom the company’s construction division also recently completed a 18,865 sq ft new community ambulance station in Stoke.

The contract will run from June 2018 to March 2020, with the possibility of a five-month extension, and will comprise the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services across over 100 sites, including resource centres, fire stations, and ambulance bases.

Having worked with the emergency services for over 20 years providing new buildings, refurbishment works, M&E improvements and facilities management services; J Tomlinson specialises in helping to meet the complex requirements of its clients.

Clients the company has recently worked alongside include West Midlands Ambulance Service and East Midlands Ambulance Services.

South Central Ambulance Service provides NHS ambulance services across Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxon, with buildings in Sussex and Surrey.

With J Tomlinson already primarily providing various building and maintenance services to blue light authorities across the Midlands and Northern regions; this appointment represents a significant contribution to the firm’s ever-growing national coverage.
