JAC wins Bristol pharmacy contract

JAC has won a contract with University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust to roll out its Pharmacy Stock Control System. Stephen Brown, director of pharmacy, said of the move: "We were looking to replace our existing system with a reliable IT solution that would enable the provision of high-quality pharmacy services in the coming years; with robust stock management in the department and patient-focused pharmaceutical care at ward level." In addition to the Pharmacy Stock Control System, the trust will also deploy JAC's advanced reporting solution, ReportPlus, which delivers detailed and graphical reports on medicines usage and cost, enabling the trust to efficiently collect and analyse medicines-related data.
