Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has launched an ink cartridge recycling scheme to raise funds for Save the Children. Recycling boxes have been set up around the trust's headquarters in Derby and the charity will receive £1 for every cartridge that is returned and not sent to landfill. Scott Darby, energy and environment officer at the trust, said: "It's such a great feeling when you get to help two worthy causes at the same time, not only are we recycling and reducing waste, but we're also helping alleviate child poverty. This project has been led by members of staff and it's down to their enthusiasm that we've taken part in this project."
