Carestream Health UK has announced the appointment of Darrell Bailey as key account manager for London and the South East.
Bailey will be responsible for managing existing installations across the area and for new business development covering the full Carestream portfolio.
With an IT networking background, he has worked as an account manager in the voice recognition, PACS, RIS and VNA fields for eight years, most recently for Sectra.
He is experienced in selling complex software solutions, including industry-recognised standards such as DICOMHL7 and IHE, to both consortiums and individual NHS trusts.
Bailey has an indepth understanding of the UK radiology market and is confident about his move to Carestream, saying: “I joined Carestream because I believe the company and its products are absolutely right for growth in the current RIS/PACS solutions.
“My experience is in developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships and there is a great ethos in the company that I believe will allow for significant further expansion.”
