Ingenica Solutions today announces the contract win for inventory management solutions from Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.

The firm will provide its class-leading inventory management solution, Atticus, to upgrade and expand the trust’s existing system.

Jackie Pomroy, head of supply chain management at South of England Procurement Services, which provides the procurement services to Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “I am confident that Ingenica Solutions will meet the high standards that our trust sets. A combination of technical know-how, supply chain management expertise, and friendly partner approach made Ingenica the trust’s first choice for inventory management.”

Ingenica provides consultancy and IT solutions in procurement, supply chain, inventory, and data management. Founding director, Nicola Hall, said: "Our whole team is very excited to partner with Portsmouth Hospitals to continue to achieve efficiency savings while also ensuring that high levels of care provision are maintained.

“Portsmouth has an enviable reputation within the NHS for excellence in inventory management and so we are particularly pleased that Ingenica has been chosen to build upon and improve the good work already achieved by the Portsmouth team, and with the support of South of England Procurement Services, formerly Solent Supplies Team.

“Ingenica supports the new Department of Health NHS eProcurement strategy, and is already delivering the tools that enable NHS trusts to meet and exceed these new requirements effectively.
