CliniMed stoma range now made using Manuka honey
Medical-grade honey features in new Aura products
CliniMed has launched a new stoma range made using medical-grade Manuka honey.
The Aura range is the newest addition to the company’s portfolio of stoma, incontinence and woundcare products.
The 53 products in the new range all feature CliniMed’s tried-and-tested skin-friendly Hyperflex flange, but with the added benefit of medical-grade Manuka honey, which is well known for its therapeutic properties, in the hydrocolloid.
The products also feature a new improved filter for better deodorisation and reduced ballooning, and a flange up to 22% larger than before and specially designed to prevent leakage. In addition, the flanges comes with a cutting guide to ensure a secure fit, and an easy2peel feature makes pouch changing quicker and easier.
Aura is available in a wide range of options, including mini, midi and maxi versions and closed (colostomy), drainable (ileostomy) and urostomy pouches, plus a handy stoma cap, ideal for short-term wear and following irrigation.
