P+HS Architects are giving its staff the opportunity to support a charity of their choice to mark the NHS' 70th birthday

P+HS Architects have found a positive way of celebrating the NHS' milestone 70th year.

The company, which is an award winning, highly experienced in healthcare design practice, has allocated £70 for every member of staff to be donated to a healthcare charity of their choosing.

Managing Director Joe Biggs explained: "P+HS has worked in the health sector for over 30 years, delivering successful buildings that improve healthcare environments. During this time we have developed strong ties with the NHS and huge respect for the work that they do. 70 years is a big birthday and we were keen to mark the occasion in some way."

Our £70 for 70 years initiative enables staff to choose their favourite healthcare charity to receive a donation of £70. Charitable organisations support the NHS and wider healthcare community in many ways and we hope that our action demonstrates in some small way, our appreciation for the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to improve healthcare for all."

On the 70th anniversary of the NHS, P+HS Architects has been reflecting on the successful projects it has delivered with the NHS over the last 25 years.

From its very first healthcare commission for a new GP surgery in County Durham in the late 1980’s to its most recently completed scheme for Airedale Hospitals NHS, P+HS Architects are proud to be part of the ongoing improvements to healthcare environments benefiting staff, patients and visitors.
