Bernard Interiors has designed, specified, supplied and fitted out the interior of the new luxury £9m St John’s House care home in Norwich for Castlemeadow Care.

The home, which provides residential and dementia care, has 60 large en suite bedrooms, restaurants, a bistro style cafe, hair salon, theatre, dedicated dementia suite and landscaped gardens.

'From the outset we’ve worked very closely with Castlemeadow Care and the building designer Northstar to deliver this fantastic project,' said Jen Bernard, managing director of Bernard Interiors. 'St John’s House has the look and feel of a luxury hotel, while being designed with the day to day needs of residents and care staff in mind throughout.

'For residents it’s important that the environment provides a happy, comfortable and fulfilling part of their life journey and for staff it’s about providing an environment in which they can give great care safely.'

Bernard Interiors was established in 2008 and specialises in the interior design of five star new build homes, extra care apartment complexes, refurbishments and care village facilities.
