Seating and trolleys specified for East of England\'s lead neonatal intensive care unit development

The new Rosie Birth Centre provides one-to-one midwifery-led care for women when they are in labour.

The new neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is designed for those babies that need specialist care after birth. It is the lead NICU for the Eastern region, and will be the largest in the country when fully operational, with 58 cots by 2020.

Beaver Healthcare was awarded the contract to supply a wide range of patient and visitor seating, both for parents staying with their children while in neo-natal intensive care, and for visitor reception areas.

Along with this, storage trolleys were supplied to go alongside each cot in intensive care to stock vital medical supplies. Other products supplied included a wide range of storage and dressing trolleys, linen trolleys, staff seating and couches.
