BMI City Medical undergoes renovation to enhance patient environment and double capacity for health assessments

HealthFirst, BMI Healthcare’s B2B and corporate wellbeing division, has today announced that it has renovated and modernised BMI City Medical to cement the clinic’s position as a flagship health assessment centre in London.

The renovation project, which began in July this year, has seen £30,000 invested into the medical centre, which serves as a satellite unit to BMI The London Independent Hospital.

The newly-refurbished unit, located close to Liverpool Street and Bank Underground stations, has had improvements to deliver a clinical environment more suited to the needs of its patients and clinical teams. This has included an improved and modernised patient reception area, renovation of the clinic’s five consulting rooms, the development of a new dedicated audiology booth, and improvements to the patient shower and changing facilities. The development has also doubled capacity to provide health assessments with a new dedicated nursing room and equipment.

“We are extremely pleased with the renovation of BMI City Medical,” said Rita Courtier, lead health screening nurse at BMI City Medical.

“The improvements have been made for the benefit of patients and staff alike, creating an environment that is both welcoming and relaxing. Thanks to the new facilities we are able exceed the expectations of our patients and provide the best support to our patients.”
