Access changes introduced at Peterborough hospital

Published: 8-Aug-2011

Visitors and patients arriving at Peterborough City Hospital are being warned of changes to the traffic flow system that are taking place from this week. Vehicles travelling to the Emergency Centre will now have to continue past the Cavell Centre in order to exit the site. The new one-way system and amended 'give way' markings are part of ongoing development work to create a full roadway and car parks at the front of the hospital. Angela Broekhuizen, project director at Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: "The new road system is a permanent fixture. We are making excellent progress with the development of the car parks at the front of the hospital."
