Construction Consultancy framework enables healthcare organisations to procure architectural, consultancy and contract administration services

AFL Architects and NORR Architects have been re-appointed to the NHS Shared Business Services' (SBS) Construction Consultancy framework as architects, lead consultants, and contract administrators.

With this appointment to all regional lots under the framework, the practices can supply to NHS and public-sector clients nationwide.

This provides a fully-compliant route to market to access construction consultancy services.

Furthermore, AFL has been appointed to the multi-disciplinary framework lot, offering a one-stop-shop design team of specialist supporting consultants.

Through this offering, clients can access a complete turnkey solution – with the benefits of cost-effectiveness, established relationships, and joined-up design.

"We are delighted to have been once again appointed to the SBS framework, both as architects and design team leaders to a full multi-disciplinary team", said Sheldon Walsh, director of AFL Architects.

“Due to our relationships across the NHS and wider public sector, we are already working alongside trusts under the renewed framework, and are looking forward to the future opportunities it opens up for AFL."

Calum MacCalman, framework director for NORR, added: "We are immensely pleased to have been re-appointed to the new NHS SBS framework.

"This framework is a great route for our clients and it simplifies the process to make procurement more accessible for all involved.”
